Sant'Angelo in Colli

The estate in Sant’Angelo is planted to 5.6 hectares of vines with a southern and southwestern exposure in one of the highest altitude areas of Brunello (500m asl). 2.6ha were planted by founder Giuseppe Anania in 1976 which continues to be the source for the Brunello and a further 3ha by his son, Luigi Anania, in 1999 which goes into the Rosso.

Grapes are hand-harvested and fully de-stemmed before fermenting with native yeasts

Wines are racked three times in the first year after harvest and once annually in subsequent years

All wines are bottled (by gravity) unfined and unfiltered
